About Anthony Ioannou, SOA
Anthony has a BA in Film and TV production from Hofstra University. He started his career in 2001 and in 2002 joined CNN in New York City. There he developed his skills as camera operator, ENG operator and ultimately a steadicam operator. Immediately he knew steadicam was the tool for him, and developed a passion for the art that has yet to diminish. After eight years of working on high profile, live and taped productions , he moved on to work on a multitude of projects as a producer, camera operator and steadicam operator. He joined NBC Sports in 2012 and works as a full time steadicam operator at Golf Channel in Orlando and continues to freelance as a steadicam operator for many clients all over the country. He attended the prestigious Steadicam Operators Association workshop in Chester Springs, PA under the instruction of Garrett Brown, Jerry Holloway and many other highly skilled operators. He has 16 years of experience in Film, Commercial, Broadcast, Studio, Corporate, Reality, Sports, News and Narrative. Living in Orlando, and originally from New York, Anthony is a Florida Steadicam Operator available local, East Coast, West Coast and anywhere in between.
